ABOUT ME

I'm Hugh, a Melbourne-based bassist and music educator with experience teaching students of all ages in a diverse range of settings. Alongside teaching guitar and bass guitar, I lead a secondary school instrumental music program of approximately 200 students.I am incredibly passionate about music education, bass playing, effective practice, and helping people at all stages of their musical life. Above all, I am dedicated to remaining a student myself.In 2027, I will be deepening and refining my craft by commencing the Master of Teaching program at the University of Melbourne.
